Thursday is the perfect night to hit happy hour with your co-workers and talk trash about the boss.
Happy Hour Spot of the Week: Overlook Lounge at Bar 44
At the Overlook Lounge, happy hour drinks are 2 for 1 and the vibe is laid-back. If you're looking for trendy, this isn't it. But the Overlook is a good spot for a drink or two (or four) after work with your fellow cubicle inmates. Your commuting colleagues can get tipsy and stumble a few blocks to Grand Central to catch the train home to suburbia.
The Outlook even gives away a pair of free Mets tickets every Thursday night. And check out the mural with artwork from famous comics artists (rumor has it they paid their bill with artwork after a night of drinking in 1976).
