Dirty, But Not Sweaty

A new report from Reader's Digest says New York is the second dirtiest city in the nation, cleaner only than Chicago. Getting high marks for cleanliness were Portland, OR, San Jose, CA, and Buffalo, NY.
According to The Daily News, the Department of Sanitation isn't taking this news very well. A spokeswoman told the News, "We really take great exception to this report." We wuz robbed, I tell ya.
Maybe it will make her feel better to hear that another recent survey found New York to be only the 59th sweatiest city in the country. After the last few days of scorching weather, you might find that hard to believe (especially if you've spent any time on the subway lately). Phoenix was voted the sweat capital of the U.S. and awarded a year's supply of Old Spice. Learn more about the sweatiest cities and the "science" behind the survey.
