A Day for Bowling, Murder, Mermaids, and Mr. T

Saturday June 25, 2005
Looking for something unique to do today? You've got a lot of choices (gotta love living in New York).

Chelsea Piers turns 10 today. Celebrate with an all-access pass ($10 for adults, $5 for kids) that gets you rock climbing, batting cages, golf, bowling, gymnastics classes, and chair massages.

Solve a mystery. Accomplice: New York, an interactive urban theater adventure, leads participants all over downtown Manhattan looking for clues (and stopping for dinner).

Venture out to Brooklyn for the famous Coney Island Mermaid Parade. Stay for the Mermaid Parade Ball afterward and enjoy burlesque dancers, sideshow freaks, and plenty of cold beer.

Or just spend the whole day admiring the world's largest collection of Mr. T. dolls. Decisions, decisions....
