Cezanne + Pissarro at MOMA
Sunday June 26, 2005
A new exhibit at MOMA, opening today and running through September 12, features more than 80 works by painters Paul Cezanne and Camille Pissarro. Pioneering Modern Painting: Cézanne and Pissarro 1865–1885 documents the friendship between these two great artists and compares and contrasts their work -- including paintings depicting the same motif by both artists.
