Former Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth has been tapped to replace Howard Stern on New York City morning Radio. Infinity Broadcasting announced yesterday that Diamond Dave will hit the airwaves in January (a rotating crew of radio personalities will take over for Stern in other markets -- including Adam Carolla in L.A.). Congratulations to Dave! You just gotta love that big spandex-wearing, ambulance-driving, Washington-Square-Park-pot-buying lug.
