New York City Marathon

Sunday November 6, 2005
It's marathon day in New York City. Thousands of runners from all over the world will hit the streets of New York today under partly cloudy skies, running 26.2 grueling miles to compete for $500,000 in prize money and bragging rights for completing the world's largest marathon.nycmarathon.jpg

Get out and cheer on the runners while enjoying our unseasonably warm November weather (high today is 69). We have all the information you need for enjoying the race -- start times, viewing locations and tips, traffic advisories and street closings, and more.
