Spring Sprung

Tuesday March 21, 2006
tullips2.jpg Spring has officially arrived in New York City. The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, and the subway is getting smellier. It's time to start planning for your favorite Spring activities:

  • Baseball season's Opening Day is on April 1. The New York Mets home opener is on April 3 versus the Washington Nationals. The New York Yankees home opener is not until April 11 versus the Kansas City Royals.

  • Central Park is getting greener by the day. Go for a walk, a jog, or a bike ride in the park and start getting back into shape for shorts season.

  • The Cloisters is now open extended hours for spring and summer. Stop by and enjoy the famous gardens during the first buds of spring.
