Tom Cruise in Tribeca

It was announced today that the Tribeca Film Festival will host the U.S. premiere of Mission: Impossible III on May 3. Tom Cruise, director J.J. Abrams, and the cast will be on hand for a full day of screenings and events as part of "Mission: NYC."

Cruise will begin May 3 with a live 3:30 appearance on "TRL" in Times Square. He will then travel to Tribeca Film Festival premieres around Manhattan by motorcycle, speedboat, taxicab, helicopter, sportscar, and subway.

Look for Tom to stop traffic and cause a commotion on the subway platform. They'll probably even let him board the train with an open beverage and jump on the subway seats (oh, the perks of celebrity).
