This Weekend -- The Tribeca Film Festival and More

There's a lot going on at the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend. I recommend checking out Saturday's screening of A Stadium Story: The Battle for New York's Last Frontier. This documentary by New York filmmakers chronicles the passionate battle over the West Side Stadium and the NYC 2012 Olympics bid. The premiere was one of the most entertaining New York film experiences I've had in a while. If you don't feel like sitting in a dark theater all weekend, there are a few other options (as always):

The Grand Central Spring Fair -- Shop for clothes, jewelry, and handmade crafts at this spring shopping bonanza at Grand Central Terminal.

Shakespeare Birthday Marathon -- Check out readings by stage and screen stars at this five-hour Bard-fest at Symphony Space.

Brooklyn Cherry Blossom Festival -- Take a short train trip to marvel at the wonder of nature's beauty. The cherry blossoms are in bloom in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
