  • Puttin' On The Spritz: What do you call it when Richard Simmons hosts a fashion show featuring salad fashions by Project Runway winner Jay McCarroll? One word. Awesome. I don't know who came up with the idea or what it's about (something to do with Wishbone salad dressing), but I am SO there. Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal. Friday, June 2. 12 pm-1 pm.

  • SOFA New York 2006: See sculpture and functional art at this annual expo. Highlights include art in the form of jewelry, glass, porcelain, and ceramics. A lecture series will feature talks by artists, curators, and collectors. Seventh Regiment Armory, Park Avenue at 67th St. Thursday, June 1 through Sunday, June 4. 11 am-8 pm.

  • ASPCA Central Park Dog Walk: Take Fido to the park on Saturday for a day of fun to raise funds and awareness for the ASPCA's efforts to help homeless pets. Thousands of New Yorkers and their canines will gather in the East Meadow for food, entertainment, and cool raffle prizes. Central Park East Meadow. Saturday, June 3. 9:30 am-4:00 pm.

  • Sunday With The Magazine: Confused about your life? The New York Times has all the answers at this day-long event covering everything from "What We Eat" to "How We See the War in Iraq." Times journalists will interview a who's who list of cool experts including Rachael Ray, Howard Dean, Karl Lagerfeld, and Madeline Albright.
