East River Music Project: The East River Music Project is a series of free indie rock concerts at the East River Amphitheatre this summer. The first show kicks off on Saturday with Meneguar, Human Television, Mobius Band, and Saturday Looks Good To Me. Doors open at 1:30 PM and the bands play from 2-4 PM. The East River Amphitheatre is in East River Park, south of the Williamsburg Bridge on the Manhattan side.
Broadway Bares: See hot boys and girls take it off to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS on Sunday night at Roseland Ballroom. At this event, New York's buffest Broadway dancers show you their burlesque moves for a good cause. General admission tickets are $50 and they are swiftly selling out.
