Celebrate America's 400th Anniversary

Tuesday June 27, 2006
GodspeedThe Jamestown Festival, celebrating the 400th anniversary of America's first permanent English settlement, is coming to the South Street Seaport. Godspeed, a historic replica of one of the three original ships that brought English colonists to America in 1607, will stop in New York as part of its 80-day sail along the eastern seaboard.

Visitors can explore 17th-century life aboard Godspeed, which has been turned into a floating museum. You can also enjoy live music and family entertainment as part of the ongoing Landing Party Festival. It's all brought to you by the River to River Festival and it's all free.

When: June 27 through July 6. 11AM - 7PM weekdays, 11AM - 8PM weekends.
Where: South Street Seaport, Pier 16 (South Street at Fulton Street)
