was wondering if the particulars bout the company that did the show and some stats were available, amount of powder used and length of show ?

The company behind the show is called Sousa Fireworks and the display was approximately 26 minutes long (you can see some photos at http://manhattan.about.com/od/eventsandattractions/ig/Macy-s-July-4-Fireworks-Photos/). There’s no mention of amount of powder in any of the info that I have, but I know that it was approximately 40,000 shells (1,500+ per minute).
