Harlem Renaissance Jazz, Film, & Art in the Park -- This three-day expo celebrates the cultural and creative spirit of
Harlem with art, live performances, a film event, kids' activities, refreshments, and plenty of great jazz. Friday evening is for jazz, Saturday is all about film, and Sunday is the art expo. All events will be held at Malcolm X Plaza at West 110th Street and Malcolm X Blvd. (Lenox Avenue) across from Central Park.

New York Dominican Parade-- More than 500,000 members of New York's Dominican community are expected to come out for this annual parade, which will start at Sixth Ave. and 36th St. and proceed to 62nd St. and Central Park West.
