Barneys New York Sample Sale

It's that time of year again. The 2006 Barneys New York Sample Sale is on from August 21st through September 4th. At this beloved semi-annual event, you'll find savings of 50% to 75% on designer clothing, shoes, and accessories for men and women. It's a can't-miss event for those who have designer tastes and an H&M budget.

Just be prepared to dig through piles and strip down to your skivvies to try stuff on in the aisles. I've even seen violence erupt over discounted Marc Jacobs. Sometimes you have to fight for a sweater that you truly believe in.
