Thursday October 26, 2006
Halloween Night isn't until Tuesday, but the fun begins this weekend with a full schedule of Halloween parties and events. Don't be a spoilsport and stay home gorging yourself on mini Krackel bars and candy corn.Get dressed up and celebrate the only holiday that lets you act like a kid and live out your favorite fantasy (whether it's sexy witch, roguish pirate, or Flavor Flav....no one's going to judge). There's still time to find a brilliant costume to wow the freaks on Halloween night:
- Halloween Costume Ideas for New Yorkers -- Check out some NYC-inspired costume ideas (including the Hillary Clinton mask pictured, which is available at Abracadabra Superstore).
- Best New York City Costume Shops -- Find out where to go to find the perfect costume or the wig and prosthetic body parts to complete your look.
- Halloween Event Guide -- Make your frightfest plans with our complete guide to Halloween events (this weekend and through Halloween night). You'll find haunted houses, ghostly tours, club parties, costume contests, a doggie parade, pumpkin carving in Central Park, a live comedy show, and much more.
- New York Village Halloween Parade -- Get some inside tips on how to enjoy New York's famous Village Halloween Parade. This NYC tradition is the nation's largest Halloween Parade and has been named one of the "100 Things To Do Before You Die." As if that's not enough, the 2006 Parade Grand Marshalls are Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS.
