Casablanca in Bryant Park
Monday August 13, 2007
Here's looking at you, kid. See Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca, one of the greatest films ever made, in Bryant Park tonight.Take someone you love (or someone you want to love) to see this timeless romantic story set in Casablanca, Morocco during World War II. Bogart's Rick doesn't stick his neck out for anyone until the Nazis arrive in Casablanca and old flame Bergman walks into his gin joint with her husband, the leader of the European resistance.
Bring your popcorn and Twizzlers and enjoy a little Monday night cinema al fresco in the park. The film start at sunset, but the lawn opens at 5:00 PM for picnickers. Get there early for a spot with a good view. See the full schedule of films in Bryant Park this summer
