Barack Obama is making his move on Manhattan this Thursday with a big rally in Washington Square Park. It's a great opportunity to find out more about Obama's views on issues that matter to New Yorkers. Gates open at 5PM on Thursday, September 27, 2007. For a "rapid entry pass," you can RSVP online.
I'm sure Obama would be happy to make New Yorkers forget all about our hometown presidential candidates Hillary and Rudy. However, as an equal opportunity blogger, I should also mention how you can show support for our NYC-based candidates.
- The gay and gay-friendly party supporting Hillary Clinton for President will welcome New York City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn for a party at Cielo on Little West 12th Street on Tuesday, October 2nd.
- Rudy Giuliani is hosting National House Party Night on Wednesday, September 27th. Thousands across the country will gather for house parties and tune in for a live Rudy webcast at 8:30 PM EST. Find or host a house party.
And what about all of those other Presidential candidates? Sorry, I get paid to be totally NYC-centric, but you can find out more about the 2008 Presidential race from About.com's very own Kathy Gill.
However, if you have information about other upcoming candidate rallies in New York City, please keep me posted.
