Time to sharpen those skates, New York. Manhattan's best ice-skating rinks are open for business.

Don't let the tourists have all the fun. Skating is great exercise and a night on the ice makes for a quirkily romantic (and cheap) date. This year, you can also check out two new skating rinks at the American Museum of Natural History and at South Street Seaport (both set to open in late November).
