Great Writers at Central Park SummerStage

Tonight, Central Park SummerStage hosts authors Wally Lamb and Zoe Heller for the first of four successive Word events this week.These two acclaimed novelists will read from their recent works and share their writing insights. Lamb is the bestselling (and Oprah-endorsed) author of She's Come Undone and I Know This Much Is True. His latest is this year's The Hour I First Believed.
Heller is the author of the award-winning and page-turning Notes On a Scandal, which became a film starring Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett. Her new novel is The Believers.
This event is free and begins at 7:30 PM in Central Park. ">Central Park SummerStage Word events continue this week with an evening of poetry featuring the legendary Sharon Olds on Thursday, a night of stand-up comedy with Gabriel Iglesias on Friday, and a program of eco-inspired poetry and performance on Saturday.
