Wimbledon at Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Center is the place to go for NYC Wimbledon fans this week. They're showing the matches live on a giant screen from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily (followed by classic tournament footage). You can even enjoy complimentary strawberries and cream while you watch from the bleachers.

And if all that grunting and serving inspires you to improve your tennis game, there's a temporary grass court set up nearby (see photo above) and Prince tennis pros on hand to provide tips and coaching.

No racket? No problem. You can borrow one of the latest Prince models. Call 212-525-4331 to reserve a free court time in advance. Learn more about HSBC Presents Wimbledon 2009 at Rockefeller Center.

In regard to the article on “The Stonewall Riots”. It was initiated by the death of Judy Garland. Everyone knows that!
That’s why the patrons weren’t going to take it any more!
