New York Restaurant Week has arrived. By now, most of you know the deal with Restaurant Week's discount prix fixe menus at New York's top restaurants.
But this time around, there is also a Restaurant Week Truck motoring around New York City and dishing out soup from participating eateries. This week's menu includes Mexhattan clam chowder from Dos Caminos Park and tomato and fennel soup from Tribeca Grill.
Soup is $6 per serving and $1 from every purchase will go to The Haiti Relief Fund at the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, aiding disaster-relief efforts in Haiti.
Is your mouth watering yet? You can track the Restaurant Week Truck's location via Twitter. This week, the truck will be based on Broadway between 50th and 51st Street during lunch (11AM until 2PM). Next week, the gourmet soupmobile will be stationed downtown. Find out more about the Restaurant Week Truck menu and schedule.
