Today is the first day of the Rockefeller Center Farmers Market, which will be open Wednesdays through Fridays until September 3rd. Bring your eco-friendly, reusable shopping bag and purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, and baked goods from regional farmers.
While you're in the neighborhood, you can stop by Bar 30, the new pop-up summer bar and lounge in Rockefeller Plaza designed by House Beautiful and reality TV star Jeff Lewis.
For those interested in livening up the old workout routine, there is also a summer yoga class at Top of the Rock. Strike a pose with a view of the Manhattan skyline. Classes are held at 6:30 AM every morning through August 26th. The fee is $25 per class and free for members of The Sports Club/LA - Rockefeller Center.
