  • NYC Public Pools Open --It's ridiculously hot out there. Luckily for you, New York City's 55 public outdoor pools opened for business on Thursday. Go for a dip and stay cool.
  • Governors Island Fun -- Hop over to Governors Island for performances by Trisha Brown Dance Company (and a dance workshop for the kids on Sunday), DrawNow! interactive art installations, and glassmaking demonstrations by master glassmakers from The Corning Museum of Glass.
  • Midsummer Night Swing --Show off your salsa moves at Saturday night's Midsummer Night Swing outdoor dance party.
  • Shakespeare at Castle Clinton -- On Sunday, the River to River Festival presents a production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night at Castle Clinton in Battery Park. The New York Classical Theatre company will perform a version of the play set in 1900's New York City.
