Girl Scout Cookie Truck

By February 6, 2013

Follow me on:

National Girl Scout Cookie Day

Alert: This Friday, February 8 is National Girl Scout Cookie Day.

To mark the occasion, the Girl Scouts have commandeered a food truck (okay, they partnered with the good people of Sweetery NYC) to spread the joy of Girl Scout cookies all over Manhattan.

The truck will be selling all of the most delicious varieties of Girl Scout cookies for $4 per box at 4 Manhattan locations on Friday (see below for details).

Obviously, Samoas are the most delicious of the delicious. Don't even try to challenge me on that one. However,  I will admit that Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Trefoils, and Do-si-dos are also very tasty.  The truck will also be selling Savannah Smiles, the new lemon cookie variety, which I haven't yet sampled.

Girl Scout Cookie Truck Route for Friday, February 8, 2013

  • 42nd Street and Madison Avenue -- 8:30 AM-10:30 AM
  • 57th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues -- 11:30 AM-1:30 PM
  • Park Avenue between 52nd and 53rd Streets -- 2:30 PM-4:30PM
  • Amsterdam Avenue between 70th and 71st Streets -- 5:30PM-7:30PM

You can also track the cookie truck location on Twitter @GirlScouts or download the Girl Scout Cookie Finder app to locate an enterprising young Scout near you and get your cookie fix that way.
