Have a few things you'd like to say to the future President of the United States? Dictate a postcard to the future Commander in Chief to performance artist Sheryl Oring at the Bryant Park Reading Room today and tomorrow between 12:30 and 2:30PM. Oring will collect all of the postcards from her five-city tour and present them to the 44th President of the United States in January 2009.

It's all part of Oring's ongoing "I Wish to Say Project." Her goal is to capture a unique snapshot of public opinion during a period of heightened political passions and quickly shifting alliances. Oring conducted similar tours during the 2004 Presidential election campaign and during the 2006 mid-term elections, which coincided with President Bush’s 60th birthday.
