Pamela Skillings

Pamela Skillings is an author, journalist, entrepreneur, and die-hard New Yorker. She has lived, worked and played in Manhattan for more than 15 years.

Since moving to Manhattan to attend New York University, Pamela has lived and worked all over New York City. She spent more more than 12 years as a marketing executive for major New York-based companies before leaving the rat race to start her own New York-based company, Skillful Communications. Pamela is also the author of the upcoming Random House book Escape from Corporate America and a journalist who specializes in writing about her passions -- which include career change, entrepreneurship, film noir, and life in New York City.

Pamela graduated from New York University with an honors degree in Journalism.
