The Beacon opened as a vaudeville house in 1929 and became a designated New York City landmark in 1979. Many of the greatest musicians of all time have performed at the Beacon Theatre -- including the Rolling Stones, Queen, Radiohead, Aerosmith, and Michael Jackson.
