New York International Fringe Festival

FringeNYC 2012 Invades New York

The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) is the largest multi-arts festival in North America. From August 10th through 26th, 2012, FringeNYC will mark its 16th anniversary with more than 200 companies from around the world performing some 1,200 shows in 20+ venues all over New York City.

Fringe Festival History

FringeNYC was founded by off-off Broadway theater company The Present Company in 1996. Since then, the festival has launched Broadway and Off-Broadway successes like Urinetown (winner of 3 Tony Awards).
