Summer Schedule for Midsummer Night Swing at Lincoln Center

Summer's here and the time is right for dancing in the streets. Head to Lincoln Center for Midsummer Night Swing. This outdoor dance party features 25 theme nights -- including swing, salsa, disco, funk, and more.

Each evening begins with a dance lesson at 6:30 PM for dancers of all levels of experience. The live music begins at 7:30 PM.

Midsummer Night Swing events take place on Josie Robertson Plaza at Lincoln Center (Columbus Avenue between 62nd and 65th Streets). Most tickets for individual events are $15 (price includes dance lessons) and admission for Kids' Day events is $5.

You can also buy a six-night swing pass for $78 (10% savings) or a season pass for $225 (40% savings). Buy tickets online or call 212-721-6500.

Tuesday, June 19 at 6:30 PM
Battle Royal of the Bands
Join host Sam Champion from Good Morning America for the opening night of Midsummer Night Swing and a battle between tow of the swing era's greatest bands -- The Count Basie Orchestra and the Duke Ellington Orchestra. George Gee & His Make Believe Ballroom Orchestra will play the Basie side while David Berger & the Sultans of Swing will represent Ellington.
