Enjoy free concerts featuring the legendary New York Philharmonic in New York City parks from July 14-17, 2009. At most locations, fireworks will end the evenings with a bang.

In addition, the New York Philharmonic will perform free indoor concerts in Queens and on Staten Island on July 18 and 19, 2009.

2009 New York Philharmonic in the Parks Schedule

Tuesday, July 14 -- Central Park
Enjoy a program conducted by Alan Gilbert that includes Mozart's Symphony No. 41, Jupiter and Beethoven's Symphony No. 7.

Wednesday, July 15 -- Prospect Park in Brooklyn
Enjoy a program conducted by Alan Gilbert that includes Mozart's Symphony No. 41, Jupiter and Beethoven's Symphony No. 7.



Thurday, July 16 -- Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx
Enjoy a program conducted by Alan Gilbert that includes Mozart's Symphony No. 41, Jupiter and Beethoven's Symphony No. 7.



Friday, July 17 -- Central Park
Alan Gilbert will conduct baritone Nathan Gunn in a program that includes selections from Mozart, Mahler, and Copland.



2009 New York Philharmonic Free Indoor Concert Schedule

Saturday, July 18 -- Center for the Arts, College of Staten Island, Staten Island.
Conductor Alan Gilbert will lead the Orchestra in a program featuring selections from Mendelssohn, Mozart, and Beethoven.

Sunday, July 19 -- Colden Auditorium, Queens College, Queens
Conductor Alan Gilbert will lead the Orchestra in a program featuring selections from Mendelssohn, Mozart, and Beethoven.
