Presidential Election Night Events in New York City

You don't have to spend election night at home biting your nails as you wait for those returns to slowly filter in. You might as well have a little fun while you wait to see who is going to run this country for the next four years. Here are our top picks for presidential election night parties in New York City:

• Rock the Vote at Citrine -- Party with TV stars on election night at Citrine. The festivities will be sponsored by Rock The Vote and hosted by Jonathan Murphy from Life on Mars, Desperate Houswives’ Joy Lauren, David Basche & Alysia Reiner of The Starter Wife, and NYCTV’s Kelly Choi. Watch live coverage of the election while toasting your candidate with a free OBAMAtini or a Red Maverick. DJ Micprobes will keep the party going from 8 PM until results are announced.



• Election Night Trivia at Salon Aleman -- On Election Night 2008, the New Museum will host an evening of tequila, trivia, and live-stream coverage of the exit polls.
