A street festival celebrating Gramercy Park.
On Park Avenue South from 17th 23rd Street, from approximately 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Muster: A Project by Allison Smith
This public art event will take place on Governors Island, the former national military post in New York Harbor, and feature such activities as mock battles, American Folk portrait painting, magic shows, and quilting bees. Organized by artist Allison Smith and produced by the Public Art Fund, The Muster asks What are you fighting for? and features installations from an army of artists. Free ferry service will be offered from Lower Manhattan starting at 12 p.m.

Greenwich Village Literary Pub Crawl
Explore the pubs frequented by the great writers who have called New York home. Local actors will take you to several Greenwich Village bars that are rich with literary history. Inside each bar, you'll enjoy a drink while your tour guides fill you in on the establishment and its famous customers.

AIDS Walk New York
Come out and walk to raise money for AIDS charities or just show your support by cheering the walkers on and enjoying the celebrity entertainment.

Mamapalooza!
May is Mamapalooza month. In cities around the country, moms are getting onstage to perform and show they can rock. On Sunday, Mamapalooza hosts their first-ever family event with moms and kids performing together (comedy, music, and story-telling).
