  • Village Halloween Costume Ball

    Every year, the Theater for the New City transforms their 30,000 square foot, multilevel space into a Halloween extravaganza for more than 1,400 masqueraders. Step inside this theatrical experience featuring sculpture, art, and live performances from more than 450 artists.

    When: Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 8PM

    Where: Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue at East 10th Street

    Getting There: Take the 6 to Astor Place, the N,R,W to 8th Street, or the F,V to 2nd Avenue/Houston Street.

    Tickets: $20. Costume or formal wear is required.

  • The Halloweekend Pub Crawl

    This is the ultimate Halloween pub crawl: 3 days, 5+ miles, and more than 100 New York City bars. Break out your craziest costume and join thousands of other pub crawlers for a night of creepy crawling and pumpkin ale, Halloween Cocktails, and Boo Light. Your ticket includes cover charges and drink specials at each and every bar on the crawl.

    When: October 30th, 31st, and November 1st from 5PM until you drop
    Where: Bars all over Manhattan
    Tickets: $15 for a single night of crawling and $30 for all three nights



  • The Zombie Prom at The Delancey

    Experience a truly nightmarish prom night at The Delancey on Thursday, October 29th, 2009. Celebrate Halloween with a night of live bands to rock you into the undead, the crowning of a Zombie Prom King and Queen, drink specials, a raffle and costume contest. Live music will be provided by The Falsies, The Nojons, Baby Teardrops, and DJ Darkstar. Proceeds benefit Personal Space Theatrics, a non-profit theater company.

  • The Vampire Werewolf Summit of 2009

    Vampires and Werewolves have been at war for centuries. Their problems with each other are, quite literally, deadly serious. So what better place to address them than a comedy club? This October 27th at the nightclub Comix, The Vampire-Werewolf Summit of 2009 will bring lycanthrope activists and vampire slaves together under the same roof for a (hopefully) peaceful discussion moderated by comic Christian Finnegan.
