NYC National Puerto Rican Day Parade
Crowds in excess of two million are expected to line Fifth Avenue on Sunday, June 14th for the 2009 Puerto Rican Day Parade.

The parade will start at 11 am at Fifth Avenue and 44th Street and proceed uptown along Fifth Avenue to 86th Street.

The 2009 Puerto Rican Day Parade theme is "Celebrating Our Music." Celebrity honorees will include New York Yankee Bernie Williams, reggaeton star Daddy Yankee, and Grammy winner Olga Tañón.

Join New York's proud Puerto Rican community for music, food, dance, and marching politicians and celebrities.

There are a number of other New York events to celebrate Puerto Rican culture this June -- including photo exhibits, concerts, parties, and more.
