However, the following are likely to be this season's Gridlock Alert Days, based on previous years. This information will be updated as soon as new details are available.
Gridlock Alert Days
The City designates a number of days during the holiday season as Gridlock Alert Days, which are days when significant vehicle traffic is expected. Residents, commuters and visitors are strongly advised to use mass transit on the following days:- Friday, November 18th, 2011
- Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011 (worst traffic day of the year)
- Wednesday, November 30th, 2011 (Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting)
- Friday, December 2nd, 2011
- Friday, December 9th, 2011
- Wednesday, December 14th, 2011
- Thursday, December 15th, 2011
- Friday, December 16th, 2011
- Wednesday, December 21st, 2011
