Q-Wave is a New York-based community organization dedicated to strengthening the voices of lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer women of Asian descent.
Through social, political, and educational organizing, Q-Wave strives to build a supportive and progressive community, and to promote visibility and empowerment for LBTQ Asian women.
Q-Wave was born in 2004 at New York University's Queer Asian Pacific Legacy Conference, fulfilling a long-recognized absence in New York City for a group addressing the needs and issues of queer Asian/Pacific Island women.
