What is AIDS Walk New York?:
On May 20, 2012, the Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC) will sponsor the 27th annual AIDS Walk New York, a fund raising walk that has raised more than $122 million for AIDS charities nationwide.
For the 2012 AIDS Walk New York, look for outstanding entertainment to be announced, with celebrity supporters Barrett Foa, NCIS Los Angeles, Doti-Marie Jones, Glee, Emmy Award Winner David Hyde Pierce and Tony Award Winner Audra McDonald leading thousands in a 10-kilometer (6.2 mile) walk in Central Park to raise money to help people with HIV and AIDS.

Register to Walk: Register as a walker and sign up sponsors.
Sponsor A Walker: Pledge money to support a friend, co-worker or loved one who is walking for the cause.

AIDS Walk New York will start and end in Central Park. Walkers should enter Central Park at 59th Street and 5th Avenue. 10k route will wind its way through Central Park and up Riverside Drive into the Upper West Side and back to Central Park.

Subways: 4, 5 and 6 stop at 59th Street and Lexington Avenue. N, R stop at 59th Street and 5th Avenue. F stops at 57th Street and 6th Avenue.
