Directions to Yankee Stadium:
- Subway directions: The Yankee Stadium subway stop is located on East 161st Street and River Avenue. The No. 4 train (East Side) and the B and D trains (West Side) make stops at 161st Street/Yankee Stadium. A trip from Midtown Manhattan takes approximately 25 minutes.
- Bus directions: The Bx6 and Bx13 buses stop at 161st Street and River Avenue. The Bx1 bus also stops at 161st Street and the Grand Concourse - a short walk from Yankee Stadium.
- Metro North directions: New in 2009, Metro-North will offer train service to Yankee Stadium, including frequent direct shuttles from Grand Central Terminal. The new Metro-North Yankees-E. 153rd Street station will open in spring 2009.
- Driving Directions: From the East Side of Manhattan, take the FDR Drive north to Exit 18 (Willis Avenue Bridge), cross the bridge and follow signs for the Major Deegan Expressway (I-87) north to Exit 4 (149th Street) or Exit 5 (155th Street). From the West Side of Manhattan, take Henry Hudson Parkway North to Exit 14 (Cross Bronx Expressway/Interstate 95 North) and follow I95 North to the Major Deegan Expressway exit (Exit 1C). Take the Major Deegan South to Exit 6 (161st Street).
No backpacks, briefcases, attaché cases, coolers, glass or plastic bottles, cans, large purses, bags or video cameras will be permitted into the ballpark.
No laptops are permitted into the stadium.
No items will be claim checked.
Diaper bags, small children's backpacks, small women's purses & backpack purses will be permitted into the ballpark, but will be inspected at the entrance gates.
Re-entry will not be permitted. Once you enter the ballpark, you will not be permitted to leave and re-enter the facility.
Only vehicles dropping off or picking up disabled guests will be permitted curbside at the ballpark. No other vehicles are permitted curbside, nor will people be able to stand and wait with their vehicles.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire stadium.
