New York City's Best Gay New Year's Eve Clubs for 2011

Usher in Eleven at One (or More) of These Big Bawdy Bashes

News flash: Few places in the world can match New York City for excitement on New Year's Eve. But if watching Snooki drop "like a friggin' hamster" in Times Square isn't your idea of ringing the new year in right, check out one of these hot gay club events going on around town on the big eve of 2011. From hipster performances to Eastern Euro porn star parades to clothing optional cavorting, this is NYE, gay NYC style.

The Black & White Ball: New Years Eve 2011

This second annual Black & White Ball, presented by FornabaioVoss Events and Josh Wood Productions, promises entertainment by the Perry Twins, rocker Andrew W.K., and a "massive surprise performance," not to mention its own (presumably non-Snookified) human ball drop at midnight. The fête goes down at the beautiful three-level Angel Orensanz Foundation on the Lower East Side.

Angel Orensanz Foundation

172 Norfolk Street, between Houston & Stanton Streets

Tickets: $75 to $250 ($2,500 for Ultra VIP balcony for 6); 50% general admission tix for those age 21-24

Easy Street

Deeper on the Lower East Side both physically and spiritually is this Earl Dax event that pairs indie gay darling John Cameron Mitchell as tunemeister (along with DJs Tusk, K!O and Gant Johnson) and downtown celeb Penny Arcade as MC (of performances by the likes of Glenn Marla, Carol Lipnik, and Enid Ellen).

Dixon Place

161A Chrystie Street, between Rivington and Delancey Streets

Tickets: $20

F Word New Year's

Splash presents the New Year's Eve edition of its F Word club, with DJs Max Rodriquez and Junior Vasquez (the latter going on at 6am). Czech in the new year with The Boys of Bel Ami at 11pm.

50 West 17th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues

Tickets: $30

A Night in Amsterdam

DJ Adam and Daniel Nardicio present a tribute to the Dutch capital's infamous red light district. This clothing optional event will feature "shocking erotic performances" all night long, with DJ Adam spinning rock, punk and homocore.

185 Christopher Street at Hudson Street

Tickets: $30 in advance or with Dcard, $50 at the door, $25 for those under 25
