Clay Aiken and NBA legend Darryl Dawkins were on hand for the 2006 lighting of the UNICEF snowflake, the famous 12-foot Baccarat snowflake that decorates the holiday sky above 57th Street and 5th Avenue every year. At a special outdoor ceremony hosted by Tiffany & Co. (complete with hot chocolate and cookies iced in Tiffany blue), Tiffany's annual holiday window displays were also unveiled. The Brooklyn Youth Chorus entertained with holiday carols, then UNICEF ambassador Clay Aiken was greeted by screaming fans as he prepared to help flip the switch to light up the UNICEF snowflake.
