There are seven Housing Works Thrift Shop locations in Manhattan (see below for details). You can also shop online and bid on unique auction items. As I write this, online auction items include a vintage Fendi bag, an 18K Tiffany & Co. watch, a Duncan Phyfe table, and Dolce & Gabbana pants.
Keep an eye on the Housing Works Thrift Shops schedule for regular sales and fashion events featuring designers and stylists.
Best of all, your Housing Works shopping dollars go toward helping New Yorkers battling HIV/AIDS and homelessness.

About Housing Works
Housing Works is committed to ending the twin crises of AIDS and homelessness. Since 1990, the organization has provided services for homeless men, women, and children living with HIV and AIDS in New York City and beyond.Housing Works raises funds through the Housing Works Thrift Shops and the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe. These social enterprise businesses are staffed mostly by volunteers and rely on donations.
Donations of funds and/or fashion are appreciated. Housing Works is also always looking for new volunteers.
