Directions to Woodbury Common Premium Outlets
Visiting Woodbury Common from Manhattan is easy via car, bus,or train.- By Car: Travel by car and you'll have plenty of room for packages. The outlets are located on Route 32 in Central Valley, NY. You can take the New York State Thruway (I-87) to Harriman, Exit 16. You can also take the George Washington Bridge (upper level) to Palisades Interstate Parkway (north) to Route 6 West (Exit 18, Central Valley). Exit onto Route 32 north (right turn at traffic light) and proceed to center entrance on right.
- By Bus: If you don't have your own car (and how many Manhattan residents do?), you can also take an outlet shopping day trip by bus from Port Authority. Gray Line New York offers multiple daily departure times from Port Authority for their Woodbury Common Premium Outlets Shopping Tour. Tickets for the eight-hour excursion are $32 for adults and $21 for kids.
The ShortLine/CoachUSA bus line also offers a Woodbury Common Premium Outlets Day Trip with multiple daily departure times from Port Authority and from several convenient Third Avenue pick-up locations. Tickets are $32 for adults and $24.50 for kids ages 5-11.
For special shopping trips (like a bachelorette party or other gathering), you can also rent a party bus and travel in style. The Woodbury Common PartyRide includes a wet bar and special coupon books. Prices range from $1,000 for 20 passengers to $2,200 for 40+ passengers. - By Train: Jump on a MetroNorth train to Harriman Station, which is just two miles from the outlets. The trip from Penn Station will cost you $17 ($11 for seniors, $8.50 for kids 5-11, and free for kids under 5) and the trip from Hoboken is $13.50 ($9 for seniors, $6.75 for kids 5-11, and free for kids under 5. On weekend days, a trolley picks passengers up at 10:30AM at the train station for the ten-minute ride to Woodbury Common and then makes a return trip from the outlets at 5:50PM for just $1.60 each way.
