Grucci Fireworks Display Celebrates Queensboro Bridge Centennial

By , About.com Guide

To celebrate the centennial of the Queensboro Bridge (aka the 59th Street Bridge), New York City put on a spectacular show over the East River. The fireworks display was designed by the Gruccis, the New Yorkers who have been called "America's first family of fireworks."

We had a great view from a Manhattan rooftop overlooking Roosevelt Island. Check out our photos of the pyrotechnics.
