Pinkberry frozen yogurt

Pinkberry's motto is "frozen yogurt reinvented to create an experience that indulges the senses." With their funky stores and celebrity following (Paris Hilton and the girls of The Hills are fans), Pinkberry started the craze for all-natural frozen yogurt in the U.S. in 2005.

Both Pinkberry and competitor Red Mango serve an all-natural variety of frozen yogurt. That means no fat, no artificial flavors, and lots of live and active yogurt cultures. The taste is a little bit tangier than the old-school frozen yogurt served at your local diner.

Previously, Pinkberry kept their ingredients top secret. However, after a recent lawsuit accusing Pinkberry of misrepresenting their product as all natural, the company changed its formula and now lists ingredients on the company's website (along with the National Yogurt Association seal of approval, earned after the formula change).

Pinkberry offers three flavors of frozen yogurt - Original, Green Tea, and Coffee. All three varieties are available with your choice of any of eighteen different toppings: mango, blackberry, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, banana, pineapple, kiwi, coconut, yogurt chips, Cocoa Pebbles, Fruity Pebbles, Cap'n Crunch, almonds, granola, chocolate chips, carob chips, graham crackers, and cookies and cream.

Pinkberry also serves smoothies and shaved ice. You can even enjoy Pinkberry at home with their Pinkberry on the Go box.

The Pinkberry flavor is a little bit sweet and a little bit tart. A half-cup serving of Pinkberry is just 70 calories with 0 grams of fat, 3 grams of protein, and 14 grams of carbohydrate. A small order represents 1.4 servings, a medium is 2.2, and a large is 3.6.

In addition to the addictive frozen yogurt, part of the Pinkberry charm is the funky decor -- featuring pebble floors, transparent plastic chairs, and lots of pastel color.
