The Bottom Line
Rosa Mexicano serves a full menu of authentic Mexican fare with a modern twist. But anyone who's been there will tell you that the highlights are the trademark pomegranate margaritas and the fresh guacamole prepared tableside.
You'll find yourself scraping the bottom of those rustic stone bowls to get the last specks of avocado goodness. In fact, you might find yourself too full of guacamole and chips to enjoy your entree (not that I'm speaking from experience).

Guide Review - Rosa Mexicano
Beyond the guacamole and the margaritas (have I mentioned those?), Rosa Mexicano offers an elegant and festive dining experience. All three Manhattan locations are lovely, but the Lincoln Center restaurant gets special kudos for its memorable waterfall wall and impressive two-level layout.
Service is attentive and the menu offers something for everyone -- from traditional Mexican fare to healthily prepared fish to delicious desserts.
Rosa Mexicano is a great place for dinner for two or for a fun group night out. Just remember to make reservations early. The restautant gets extremely crowded on weekends and there's not much room to wait in the bar areas. You'll have to fight your way through the hungry crowds to get to the bar for a pre-seating margarita.
